What qualities make someone particularly successful in psychology?

Critical thinking, comprehension and application are all beneficial for psychological success.

What do you think is the biggest challenge that people in the psychology profession face today?

Other biggest challenge in our field is the need for a graduate degree to do exactly what you want to do with psychology.

What is the one book you think everyone should read?

There is no way to limit this to just one! I would start with the "Female Brain" by Louann Brizendine and "The Deepest Well: Healing the Long-Term Effects of Childhood Adversity" by Nadine Burke Harris.

Tell us something interesting about yourself that your students might not know about you.

I love to cook, camp and read!
