Your Education is Our Priority
The University of Texas Permian Basin (UTPB) is part of the respected University of Texas System but is recognized as an innovator in its own right for championing student success through affordable tuition, online college courses and creative partnerships with other academic institutions, corporations and industries. Located on the iconic plains of Odessa, Texas, UTPB offers 42 bachelor programs and 35 master programs through the College of Arts and Sciences, the College of Business, and the College of Education.
Our commitment to excellence is fostered by an outstanding faculty and staff. Through their academic stewardship, UTPB's College of Business is one of the select business programs in the nation to be accredited by the prestigious Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business—a distinction that has been bestowed on only five percent of the world's business programs. And UTPB's College of Education is accredited by the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation, the Educational Leadership Constituent Council, and the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges.
As a leader in online education, UTPB is removing the geographic, time and financial barriers that often prevent students from achieving their education goals. Today, students can earn a bachelor's degree online in several disciplines—including business administration, communications, psychology and sociology. And through our online master's programs, students can earn business or education graduate degrees.
